1) Cheating-Matter of Nipandtuck: Don-nadie (our Sysop) had stated charges in posts as well as giving information to at least Adolfo, Javier, and Craig. Cheating forms included a) multiple cases of elo manipulation, task switching, and sharing user accounts. These forms of cheating being less severe then engine use, Don-nadie had recommended issuance of a yellow card as a first warning. After discussion, the vote yes= issuance of yellow card.
Result: 5(yes-Adolfo, Javier, Ysa, Peter, Craig)-1(no vote-Khai). As mentioned this was also Don-nadie suggestion). Yellow card issued. Craig brought up question of speaking with Nipandtuck & stating issuance-all agreed that Craig would do this. Craig decided to allow Nipandtuck's match played & speak with him after match. (This was done after 17:00st match).
2) Cheating: Administrators discussed various forms of cheating. It was agreed at this time to consider each case of non-engine-use forms of cheating individually as they occur (and are so informed by our Sysop).
Engine-use cheating: This being a very serious form of cheating, a vote=ban from membership of Ciberzonachess.
Result: 6(yes-Adolfo, Javier, Ysa, Peter, Khai, Craig) .
3) Reconsideration of Match played between Mr Bh6 & Pardilla-disconnection forfeit-win claim of Pardilla:
In our prior meeting, Admins have created a disconnection rule with the thinking that a prior disconnection rule had not been established. After this case consideration & disconnection ruling, Khai pointed out Disconnection rule which had been established. That disconnection rule allows for claim of forfeit win if opponent disconnects for 30 minutes or more, or 5 or more occurrences of disconnection. Because of this, this case was reconsidered. Vote of yes=Mr Bh6 recieves forfeit win.
Result: 5(yes-Adolfo, Javier, Peter, Khai, Craig)-1(draw-Ysa). Mr Bh6 forfeit-win accepted. Craig will inform Mr Bh6 of this change.
4)Disconnection Rule: Due to recognition of prior rule, vote is yes=accept new rule established April 24. (15 or more minutes of disconnection or 3 or more disconnects per game).
Result: 6(yes-Adolfo,Javier,Ysa,Peter,Khai,Craig). April 24 Disconnection rule accepted.
5)Registration-usernames of CiberzonaChess: Mr Bh6 posted he still finds players with multiple usernames. Ruling has already been made concerning this, but further discussion was made & decision made again: Yes=any player who registers on Ciberzonachess must use only one username. If this registrant has one or more Playchess username, registrant may only use one of these usernames. Administration will remove all duplicate registration/multiple usernames.
Result: 4(yes-Javier, Ysa, Peter, Craig)-2(no vote-Adolfo,Khai). Yes accepted.
6)New Administrators: Our prior decision to decide upon 2 new Administrators was discussed, considering Admin poll and responses from the 8 candidates suggested prior. Craig made suggestion that we accept Gruber as one of the new Administrators & we continue search for a second Admin. Yes=accept Gruber & continue search for 2nd Admin.
Result: 6(yes-Adolfo, Javier, Ysa, Peter, Khai, Craig). Gruber accepted as new Admin!
7)Season 2 IT: Peter had made post regarding his suggestion for a different format for IT next season. After all Admins stated they had read his proposal, Peter elaborated on plan during discussion. Yes=accept Peter's IT proposal & Peter will administer.
Result: 4(yes-Adolfo, Ysa, Peter, Craig)-1(no vote-Javier) (Khai has left meeting & does not vote on this or later issues). Yes accepted.
8)No Guests playing tournaments: Although decision had been made regarding this, Craig asked for this decision to clarify whether guests were not allowed to play in any form of CiberzonaChess tournament in Season 2 & beyond (examples: CC Tournament, CC Cup, IT, (past JT)). Yes vote=guests not allowed to play in any tournament form.
Result: 3(yes-Javier, Ysa, Craig)-2(no vote-Adolfo, Peter).
9)Ask JocelynPatrick as a programmer to assist with CiberzonaChess main page: Javier and Peter in particular discussed need for another programmer to work on this. Vote is yes=ask JocelynPatrick for assistance with main page.
Result: 4(yes-Javier, Ysa, Peter, Craig)-1(no vote-Adolfo). Yes accepted.
10)Make a list of Season 2 Administrative responsibilities: Discussion of need to reassign duties of Admins as had been done by Javier for Season 1. Vote is yes=Javier creates new list of duties, Admins then state/post their duty interests, Javier then assigns duites.
Result: 5(yes-Adolfo, Javier, Ysa, Peter, Craig)(Ysa pre-indicated her interest in continuing duty of recruiter). Yes accepted. (and I assume we will honor Ysa's recruiter request.
11) Date/time for next chat decision meeting: Vote is yes=Saturday May 8-14:00st
Result: 4(yes-Javier, Ysa, Peter, Craig). Gruber, Khai, and Don-nadie will be asked if this day/time favorable & depending on this, meeting day/time may be changed. (Craig sent post in this regard to Gruber).
